My name is Marly Ayala-Icaza I am originally from Ecuador and Brazil, I graduated initially as a nurse, got married, had 2 girls and went to live in Paris France from 1988 to 1990. I became a Psychologist in my country, having a private practice dedicated to treating patients with personality disorders and psychiatric issues. I had more than 150 MMPI-2 TEST and 457 MCMI-III & MACI during that time.

I came to the USA in 2010, validated my degree, did my Masters with all its requirements and passed the test for my licensure in Mental Health Counseling in Florida. I started working in Fort Lauderdale for a psychiatric hospital (Atlantic Shores) while volunteering for a non-profit Institute doing therapy for people with HIV in Spanish, Portuguese and French. Currently, I live in Bradenton Florida with my husband. I work in a Pain Management Clinic treating patients with chronic depression, somatoform disorders and evaluating candidates to be treated with opiates as well as candidates for implants such as pumps or spinal cord stimulators. I have my own small private practice where I manage mainly anxiety and personality disorders in young athletes and adults and do Hardship evaluations for immigrants. My husband, who is a life coach, and I volunteer at our church in Bradenton during the summer, helping people with anxiety and depression. I am passionate by my profession and love to help people to have a pleasant lifes even in difficult environments and situations.
